Benin has made true of its words months after announcing Africans visiting the West African nation will no longer require visas.
Recently, the government scrapped short stay visas for nationals from 31 African countries in an effort to promote easier travel and strengthen relations.
The exemption promised by President Patrice Talon, is based on the Rwandan example, and applies to stays of less than 90 days.
